Busted! by Martyn Pritchard & Ed Laxton

This paperback came out in the wake of the Operation Julie busts and is written by tabloid hack (Laxton) and an ex undercover cop (Pritchard). It details, in somewhat purple prose, Pritchard's adventures in the English underground leading up to and including the Julie busts. Although the breathless proise style and journalese is truly laughable (and in some cases just plain offensive) the book is worth reading because of the insight it gives you into undercover poliuce work and their view of the underground as a whole. It's a scarce book that often changes hands for between £15.00-£25.00 (sometimes more) on ebay. I have a couple of copies for sale at £15.00 each, plus postage.

God Is In A Sugar Cube

This is an LSD related badge (see an example in the badge section of this site). It is gold and yellow, featuring a sugar cube in the centre with the text God is in a Sugar Cube in a circle round it. No idea of exact date but I think we are looking at late 60s early 70s. Rarely comes up for sale on Ebay, and when it does has sold for over £25.00. I have one for sale at £15.00.
